Job summary

MANITOU Group is seeking a Fab/Machine Operator for an onsite role in Madison, South Dakota. The position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining fabrication machinery to meet quality and production targets.

You will interpret drawings, manage measurement tasks, and use tools such as lasers and press brakes. The role requires safety awareness, teamwork, and readiness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings, work instructions and checklists.
• Read measuring instruments and understand tolerances.
• Experience with laser and press brake equipment preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain machinery safely and to spec.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for fabrication work.
• Procure materials and use measurement tools as required.
• Operate lasers and press brakes and ensure quality documentation.
• Complete production and quality paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with Fabrication Manager or Supervisor to resolve issues.
• Ability to work overtime and lift up to 50 lbs.
