Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Massachusetts seeks a Fabricator to support production on site in Southbridge. You will provide general labor to aid manufacturing and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities include preparing material for the next step (deburring, drilling, tapping), assembling parts, assisting the CNC operator, and keeping the work area clean and safe. A high school diploma and 2 years general labor experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years general labor experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.
• Able to use multiple hand tools.
• Able to follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material for the next process step per instructions.
• Prepare all parts and sub-assemblies using blueprints and parts lists.
• Assemble by measuring for location and fastening parts.
• Assist the CNC operator in loading/unloading material on the router table.
• Keep the manufacturing area clean and recycle where applicable.
• Assist the materials group with kitting of project parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
