Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Fabrication Team Lead to supervise a team of fabricators and perform hands-on welding, machine operation, and metal fabrication tasks. You will ensure parts meet customer specifications, quality standards, production goals, and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong MIG and TIG welding experience, can read blueprints and weld symbols, and has prior experience coaching team members in a fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding experience.
• Experience leading a fabrication or welding team.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding.
• Strong safety and quality standards adherence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the fabrication team while performing hands-on welding.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding, fitting, grinding, and fabrication tasks.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to determine fabrication requirements.
• Monitor production performance and ensure on-time delivery.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members on welding techniques.
• Coordinate with other departments to complete projects on schedule.
