Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing is seeking a Team Lead for the Fabrication Department on 2nd shift in Bradenton, FL. You will mentor and guide team members, manage workload, and ensure timely, quality output in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leading by example, coordinating with production control, and maintaining safe operations in varying conditions. Strong communication and Lean manufacturing knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Must not have three or more attendance points within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, assign work, and lead all employees in your department.
• Monitor and adjust workflow to meet the requirements of the schedule.
• Perform product inspections and evaluate the quality of the work prior to the product leaving the area.
• Perform inventory of stock and communicate shortages to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain and complete all manufacturing paperwork for the area.
• Lead by example through hands-on work.
• Interact with customers and customer representatives professionally.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
