Job summary

MUM Metals OH - Mentor, OH 44060 is seeking an Experienced-level Shift Lead in fabrication. You will guide a production team, ensure assembly quality, and coordinate tasks to meet specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities include supervising assemblers, reviewing orders, and maintaining equipment. The role focuses on safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience with press brake machines (Amada, Cincinnati, Accupress, Trumpf and sheet metal).
• Must have experience leading or supervising a team.
• Must have previous experience within fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead team assembly of an entire product or component.
• Shift Lead can plan tasks and rotate roles as assembly auditor.
• Participate in decisions affecting the assembly team.
• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Package finished products and prepare for shipment.
• Review work orders and blueprints for specifications.
• Complete production reports for management.
• Determine work assignments and procedures.
• Maintain production equipment and machinery.
• Supervise assemblers and train employees on procedures.
• Operate machinery and heavy equipment such as forklifts.
