Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have experience and a working knowledge of the product.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to attain a certified forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Directs the work of employees in the department.
• Responsible for training new employees and retraining current staff.
• Interact professionally with employees and customers.
• Maintain line speeds, housekeeping and production records.
• Start, shut down, operate and control equipment as directed.
• Report problems to Department Supervisor.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and safety rules.
• Assist as needed to maintain quality and production rates.
