Job summary

TREW LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician – Fabrication Support to provide hands-on technical support in the Fabrication Department. You will help convert engineered designs into efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes and serve as a key link between Engineering, Fabrication, Production, and Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, assisting with nesting (Bystronic/BySoft), and supporting laser cutting, bending, and CNC programming.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
Experience with fabrication shops and automation.
Experience with nesting and programming.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret measuring tools and blueprints.
Support daily fabrication operations including laser cutting, forming, and material handling.
Assist in selecting manufacturing methods, tooling, and processing sequences.
Read blueprints and verify drawings, models, specs, and instructions.
Support nesting and review for part orientation, material utilization, and manufacturability.
Assist with CNC press brake programming and verification.
Follow safety procedures and cooperate with leadership.
