Job summary

Trew is seeking an Engineering Technician – Fabrication Support in West Chester, OH. You will provide hands-on technical support to the Fabrication Department, transforming engineered designs into efficient manufacturing processes and serving as a bridge between Engineering, Fabrication, Production, and Manufacturing Engineering.

You will assist with laser cutting, CNC press brake forming, sheet-metal processing, nesting, routing, programming, tooling, and production troubleshooting,

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience with fabrication shops and automation.
• Experience with nesting and programming.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Support laser cutting, brake forming, material handling, and robotics.
• Assist in determining manufacturing methods, tooling, and processing sequences.
• Review nests for part orientation, quantity, and manufacturability.
• Ensure safety procedures and execute internal work orders.
