Job summary

Miller Electric is seeking a Fabrication Support to join the Components Division, supporting manufacturing operations with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork. Responsibilities include loading/unloading on the paint line, hanging hooks, PEM/weld nut installation, masking, and material handling.

The role offers growth toward a Fabricator role and possible participation in an Internal Fabrication Training Program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to cross-train.
• Ability to stand up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime (10-12 hrs) when needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts on the paint line.
• Ensure quality and packaging per customer's request.
• Attach and remove hooks from the paint line.
• Apply masking materials to designated areas to protect surfaces from paint or finishing applications.
• Install PEM nuts and weld nuts onto components with proper placement.
• Move materials to support production flow.
• Receive training in painting techniques and processes.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Perform additional tasks to support operations.
