Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor in Long Prairie, Minnesota. The role centers on maintaining staffing to meet production needs, directing production for efficiency, and ensuring adherence to customer specs and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include training on GMPs, monitoring downtime, and providing performance feedback, while promoting safety and quality across the team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 18+ years old.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and around moving equipment with PPE.
• Ability to work extended hours Mon–Sat with overtime as production needs dictate.
• Training required: Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, Food defense.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate crewing to meet production requirements.
• Direct production to improve operating efficiency.
• Be familiar with production reports and daily schedules.
• Ensure products meet customer specs and food safety standards.
• Train and enforce GMPs.
• Monitor downtime and seek ways to reduce downtime.
• Assist with employee development and safety training.
• Provide feedback and corrective instruction on performance.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and quality of work.
