MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join our Rochester, NY area client in Macedon. The role focuses on railing, stairs, and structural components, reading drawings and taking projects from raw materials through finished assemblies.

This is not welding-only; candidates will cut, bend, fit, assemble, weld, and work with steel. You'll work Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with optional overtime and a direct-hire, full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in steel fabrication, railing fabrication, stair fabrication, or miscellaneous metals.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Strong layout, fit-up, assembly, and tape-measure skills.
• Experience with cutting, bending, grinding, and metalworking equipment.
• Welding experience with the ability to complete fabricated assemblies.
• Comfortable handling steel materials and performing various shop duties.
• Ability to work independently and produce accurate finished products.
• Reliable, mechanically inclined, and willing to assist across different fabrication processes.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate steel railings, stairs, handrails, and miscellaneous structural components.
• Read and interpret fabrication blueprints and shop drawings.
• Perform accurate measurements, layout, fit-up, and assembly.
• Cut, bend, drill, grind, and weld steel components.
• Perform pipe bending and assist with sheet-metal bending operations.
• Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy and quality.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop fabrication equipment.
• Assist with steel material handling and general shop operations.
• Support fabrication of structural beams and columns as needed.
• Work at both Rochester and Macedon shop locations based on production needs.
