Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join our Rochester, NY area client in Macedon. The role focuses on railing, stairs, and structural components, reading drawings and taking projects from raw materials through finished assemblies.

This is not welding-only; candidates will cut, bend, fit, assemble, weld, and work with steel. You'll work Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with optional overtime and a direct-hire, full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in steel fabrication, railing fabrication, stair fabrication, or miscellaneous metals.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Strong layout, fit-up, assembly, and tape-measure skills.
• Experience with cutting, bending, grinding, and metalworking equipment.
• Welding experience with the ability to complete fabricated assemblies.
• Comfortable handling steel materials and performing various shop duties.
• Ability to work independently and produce accurate finished products.
• Reliable, mechanically inclined, and willing to assist across different fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Work at both Rochester and Macedon shop locations based on production needs.

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join an established structural steel fabrication company in the Rochester, NY area.

This position focuses on fabricating railings, stairs, miscellaneous metals, and structural steel components. We're looking for someone who can read fabrication drawings, perform accurate layout and fit-up, and take projects from raw materials through finished assemblies.

This is not a welding-only position. The ideal candidate enjoys all aspects of metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, fitting, assembling, welding, and working with steel materials.
