Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience reading & interpreting engineering drawings and process documents.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure alignment with engineering intent.
  • Perform organic coating application using brush, roll, and spray methods for Thermal Protective Systems.
  • Vacuum and mechanically bond Thermal Protective Systems onto flight hardware.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

The ideal candidate will possess applicable educational and/or certification credentials from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience. This role requires the ability to apply organic coatings to meet corrosion protection and appearance requirements, as well as perform organic chemical conversion and paint preparation using brush, roll, and spray application methods. The candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and process work instructions to ensure work is completed in alignment with engineering intent. Additional responsibilities include vacuum and mechanical bonding of Thermal Protective Systems on flight hardware, along with the application of Thermal Protective Systems through spray and pour methods. A strong commitment to following all assigned safety guidelines and procedures is essential.
