Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial (NEI) seeks a technically minded Sourcing Lead - Fabrication to develop and execute sourcing strategies for fabricated equipment and assemblies. You will engage suppliers on technical and commercial topics, review drawings, and lead supplier development to meet design, quality, and delivery requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor degree required (ideally engineering).
• Strong technical knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Experience assessing supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, weld symbols, GD&T, BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for fabricated equipment, components, and assemblies.
• Lead supplier selection, sourcing events, and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to define sourcing requirements.
• Ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of design, quality, and cost objectives.
• Maintain compliant supplier contracts and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve supply chain efficiency.
