Job summary

A to Z Machine Company in Appleton, WI is hiring a Fabrication Shop Utility for the 1st shift. You will support the fabrication shop with material handling, equipment operation, and daily shop operations, while learning across multiple fabrication areas.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, quality and safety, with opportunities to cross-train in Waterjet and welding as you gain experience. This is a full-time, on-site position offering growth and team support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred (1+ year ideal).
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using a tape measure and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations throughout the fabrication shop.
• Perform sandblasting and material handling duties.
• Assist with shipping & receiving activities.
• Operate saws to cut material to the correct length.
• Assist with Waterjet operations and equipment maintenance.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and running efficiently.
• Operate heat treatment equipment.
• Cross-train in Waterjet and/or Welding.
• Follow all 6S, quality, and safety procedures.

A to Z Machine Company is looking for a Fabrication Shop Utility team member to support our fabrication department with material handling, equipment operation, and day-to-day shop operations. What You'll Do:

You're a Great Fit If You Have:
