Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking personnel to support maintenance and upkeep of assets in a theme park environment. The role involves assisting with fabrication, cleaning, and general shop tasks using specialized tools and equipment.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; trade school/associate degree preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license may be required to operate company vehicles. Competitive compensation and EOE statement included.

Qualifications

• 1+ year set/prop fabrication and maintenance, mechanics, or general shop work and cleaning is preferred.
• Experience with tools and small equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and upkeep of assets using specialty tools, equipment and chemicals; assist with PM schedules and asset disassembly/assembly.
• Keep 5S areas neat and organized; assist others with organization; maintain tools and vehicles.
• Request materials or tools and maintain stock and PPE; coordinate with Leads and Planners for delivery.
• Document work activities using CMMS software and log sheets.
• Help transport and deliver items to teammates, customers and partners as required.
• Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities; follow policies and training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
