Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of welders, machinists, painters and fiberglass technicians. You will coordinate hiring, training and scheduling for the maintenance team and ensure timely responses to attraction needs.

You will lead efforts to troubleshoot issues with engineers, maintain repair records, and enforce safety and environmental policies. A relevant associate degree or technical training is preferred, with 5+ years of technical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical and trade experience in maintenance
• Supervisory experience in a Universal Orlando leadership role
• Knowledge of welding methods (Stick, MIG, TIG) on metal and composites
• Ability to read drawings, sketches and verbal/written instructions
• Proficiency in MS Office, MAXIMO and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Supervise Central Shops technicians with hands-on involvement and coordinate with shifts.
• Train, develop and schedule maintenance staff; assist with hiring and staffing decisions.
• Troubleshoot problems; work with engineers to improve reliability, safety, and serviceability.
• Maintain records of maintenance repairs and daily completed work.
• Manage time, attendance, vacations, PTO and leave; ensure policy adherence.
• Follow Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per company policy.
