Job summary

Universal Orlando seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee welders, machinists, painters and fiberglass technicians in daily operations. You will organize hiring, training and scheduling and collaborate with engineers to enhance reliability, safety and serviceability of rides and facilities.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, knowledge of welding methods (Stick, Mig, Tig) and familiarity with MS Office, MAXIMO and SharePoint. Associate degree or technical training preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years technical and trade experience required.
• 1+ years Supervisory experience and Universal Orlando leadership role experience required.
• Knowledge of welding methods (Stick, Mig, Tig) on steel, stainless, aluminum; knowledge of composite matting and finishing paints.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operation of welders, machinists, painters and fiberglass technicians.
• Facilitates hiring, training and scheduling of employees.
• Troubleshoots problems; works with engineers to improve reliability, safety and serviceability of rides and facilities.
• Maintains maintenance work records and manages time off and attendance.
