Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, part of EMCOR Group, is seeking an Assistant Floor Supervisor for the Fabrication Shop. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

You'll lead a shift team, monitor output and quality, and collaborate with the Shop Manager to resolve issues. This role requires reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to maintain production flow.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Familiarity with industry equipment and technical expertise.
• Ability to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Capability to lead by example and build a strong team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day operations to meet scheduling requirements.
• Be responsible for production output, quality, and on-time shipping.
• Maintain trust with the work group and manage shift staff.
• Commit to plant safety procedures.
• Address employee issues and collaborate with Shop Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
