Job summary

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fabrication Shop Maintenance Technicians for projects in Knoxville, TN. This first shift role offers up to $30/hour, depending on experience and skill level.

You will work with CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, and other fabrication equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently. Join a team that prioritizes safety, quality workmanship, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance or fabrication shop maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, saws, and related fabrication equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fabrication equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment for safe operation.
• Maintain maintenance records and repair documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean work area.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fabrication Shop Maintenance Technicians for projects located in or around Knoxville, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, saws, and other fabrication equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment calibrations as required
• Conduct minor in-house welding and structural fabrication repairs on machinery, equipment, and shop fixtures
• Maintain shop tools and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Identify potential equipment issues before they impact production
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous industrial maintenance or fabrication shop maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, saws, and related fabrication equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks effectively
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team
