Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned Fabrication Supervisor to lead daily metal fabrication operations including laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, and related processes. You will ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets are met while coordinating with planning, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• 2–5+ years in precision fabrication or heavy manufacturing.
• Proficient with CAD/CAM software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam.
• Knowledge of metalworking techniques and laser cutting, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with SPC, GD&T, and ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to establish and maintain a zero-incident safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, PPE, and safe material handling.
• Translate production schedules into clear operator priorities.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate with planning, engineering, quality.
• Oversee laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, rolling, drilling, and deburring operations.
• Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving (5 Why, Fishbone, DMAIC).
