Job summary

Ring Power Corporation seeks a supervisor to oversee fabricators in its Jacksonville division. You will coordinate activities, inspect workmanship for conformance to drawings, and enforce safety and work processes.

You will drive improvements in production methods and assist with troubleshooting while coordinating with other departments. The role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, and a high school diploma, with preferred post-secondary technical training.

Qualifications

• Over five years of experience in light metal fabrication or related fabrication roles.
• Must be able to comprehend, speak and write English.
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers in fabrication/repair/reconditioning of equipment.
• Inspect work in progress and finished products for compliance with drawings and instructions.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure proper start-up and shut-down of equipment.
• Recommend improvements to production/repair methods and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with other supervisors to manage department activities and communicate daily schedules.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of all machines including overhead cranes.
