Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Fabrication Shop Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication shop and field mechanical construction activities. You will lead skilled trades teams to complete piping, ductwork, and mechanical systems safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Read blueprints and isometrics, coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors, and enforce safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction or fabrication experience.
• 2+ years in a Foreman, Supervisor, or similar leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping fabrication, mechanical assembly and/or ductwork.
• Experience in data center, industrial, or commercial mechanical construction preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor fabricators, pipefitters, welders, and mechanical installers.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Oversee fabrication of piping, ductwork, and mechanical support systems.
• Support field installation of HVAC, chilled water, condenser water, piping, and related mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, specifications, and fabrication details.
• Coordinate schedules and field activities with Project Managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and QA/QC compliance.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
• Support system testing, commissioning, and project turnover.
