Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Fabrication Shop Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication shop and field mechanical construction activities. This role leads skilled trades teams, ensuring mechanical fabrication and installation work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities include supervising fabricators, pipefitters, welders, and mechanical installers; coordinating daily work, manpower, materials, and equipment; and overseeing piping, ductwork,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical construction or fabrication experience.
• 2+ years in a Foreman, Supervisor, or similar leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping fabrication, mechanical assembly, and/or ductwork.
• OSHA 10 certification required; able to work in shop and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor fabricators, pipefitters, welders, and mechanical installers.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Oversee fabrication of piping, ductwork, and mechanical support systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, specifications, and fabrication details.
• Monitor productivity, QA/QC compliance; support field testing and commissioning.
