Job summary

Crown Technical Systems in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shop Helper to support the Fabrication Department. You will assist with prepping, grinding, sanding, and cleaning of sheet metal and steel, and help machine operators and welders complete fabrication tasks on the production floor.

Two shifts are available: 1st shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 2nd shift 4:00 PM–12:30 AM. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior experience in manufacturing or related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prepping, grinding, sanding and cleaning of sheet metal and steel material.
• Assist machine operators and welders with assigned tasks to complete fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and help with material transfers on the production floor.
