Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support a custom metal fabrication shop. In this hands-on role you will prepare the shop for upcoming projects, assist with fabrication tasks, and help ensure quality and safety in all work.

You will unload/load materials, operate common fabrication equipment, and help maintain a clean, organized work area. The position requires reliable communication with supervision, ability to read a tape measure, and physical

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate clearly with supervisor and coworkers.
• Must be able to utilize basic math and read a tape measure.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments.
• 40+ hours per week with possible weekend work.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the shop for upcoming projects and assist with fabrication tasks.
• Unload and load materials and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Safely operate fabrication shop equipment as directed and maintain quality.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a tidy, safe workspace.
• Perform other duties related to shop operations as assigned.
