Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a dependable fabrication shop helper in Arkansas to support daily operations in a metal fabrication facility. You will assist with preparing the shop for projects, load/unload materials, and keep areas clean while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications include the ability to read, write, basic math, and lift up to 50 pounds; 18+ years old; willingness to work 40+ hours and possible weekends. Training and safety-focused culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor.
• Must be able to utilize basic math and read a tape measure.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively.
• Work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments.
• 40 or more hours per week with possible weekend work.
• Background check and drug screen based on job location/requirements.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with Shop Superintendent, Fabricators, and helpers to meet production needs safely.
• Safely operates fabrication shop equipment such as shears, brakes, rollers, ironworkers, drill presses, saws, and forklifts.
• Take direction from supervisors and communicate project needs clearly.
• Think creatively and apply results to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and follow all safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
