Job summary

BTD is a growing metalworking company with lines across the Midwest and Southeast. This role supports manufacturing operations by reading blueprints, producing parts, and inspecting output to ensure quality.

You will work with various presses and CNC/milling equipment, while using timekeeping software and maintaining a safe work area. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or 18+, basic math/blueprint skills, and teamwork ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 18+ with a blueprints/math test score of 85%+.
• Basic knowledge of production processes and safety practices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good math, mechanical aptitude and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or sketches to guide manufacturing.
• Manufacture parts to blueprints or sketches using OII as guide.
• Inspect parts with measuring tools and document findings.
• Return patterns, fixtures and documents after production.
• Stack parts and clean machines; perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate stamping presses, milling/CNC machines, spot welders and turret machines safely.
• Enter time and job information in software and ERP systems.
• Follow daily maintenance and safety checklists for equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area at all times.
