BTD, a fast-growing metalworking company with four Midwest/Southeast facilities, seeks a production operator to set up equipment and ensure the production of quality parts. You will inspect parts, adjust equipment, and verify that drawings and revision levels are current to maintain high standards of accuracy.
Under supervision, you will handle multiple tools and processes, participate in training, and collaborate across shifts to maintain smooth production flow and safety compliance.

Under general supervision, sets up equipment and insures the production of quality parts. Inspects parts and adjusts the equipment as required for an efficient operation. Operate grinders, tumblers, belt sanders, hand grinders and wire wheel equipment that sands and smoothes to reduce thickness of material and for producing quality parts.

Graduation from high school or the equivalent.
At least one and a half years of recent related mechanical and shop experience which includes the following skills and abilities

OTC6: $25.60 - $35.85 related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
