Job summary

JVT Advisors in Woburn, MA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead fabrication and installation projects from kickoff to completion. You will serve as the primary liaison among the office, shop, field crews, and customers, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in welding, structural steel, or fabrication, can read blueprints and shop drawings, inspect workmanship, and coordinate personnel, materials, and subcontractors across all

Qualifications

5+ years PM experience in welding/steel fabrication.
Able to read blueprints and shop drawings.
Coordinate multiple trades and crews.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office and PM software.
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple fabrication and installation projects from planning through final completion.
Review drawings, blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure requirements are understood.
Coordinate daily activities between fabrication shop, field crews, vendors, and customers.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and milestones to keep projects on track.
Inspect shop and field work for quality, workmanship and compliance with specs.
Lead project meetings with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
Maintain accurate project documentation, change orders, RFIs, schedules, and progress reports.
Promote a safe work environment following OSHA standards.
Work with leadership to prioritize workloads and maximize productivity.
Support estimating, planning, and project closeout activities.
