Job summary

Dover Precision Components, located in Antigo, WI, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to analyze drawings, program multi-axis machines, and optimize tooling and setups. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years operating CNC mills or lathes and a technical school certification, with a strong manufacturing background and attention to precision.

Qualifications

• Certification from accredited technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes drawings and design data to determine dimensions and cuts.
• Updates routing and ensures CNC tools used to full capacity.
• Writes programs using CAD/CAM and 3D verification software.
• Revises programs to fix errors or omissions.
• Creates standard work documents for CNC machines.
• Continuously improves tooling and programs.
• Evaluates designs to validate functions and protect margins.
• Monitors programs to follow blueprints and complete tasks safely.
