RK Industries, LLC, in Colorado, seeks a Manufacturing Planner to oversee CAD/FAB planning, ensuring shop schedules meet customer requirements and budgets while delivering quality products on time.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Shop, and Field personnel to update forecasts, optimize batch flow, and develop work orders. A strong planning background in manufacturing and proficiency with shop software are expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and follow guidance effectively.
• Proven track record of contributing to the development and improvement of operational concepts, techniques, and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage tasks within a defined scope and adhere to established procedures.
• Collaborative team player with experience working under general supervision in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in industry-specific tools, technologies, and methodologies relevant to planning and manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and initiative in problem-solving, with the ability to make well-informed recommendations

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Production Planning Manager in ensuring CAD/FAB processes meet customer requirements.
• Assist with daily Production Planning of work orders.
• Set up scheduling of material procurement, processing, fabrication and painting of structural & miscellaneous steel.
• Maintain Global Shop Solutions scheduling software database.
• Coordinate material procurement with purchasing to meet fabrication sequence plans.
• Interpret specifications and blueprints for processes, improvements and cost impacts.
• Work from sequencing plans with budgets, hours, and delivery dates.
• Program and maintain data in Tekla PowerFab.
• Nest and program plate shapes for plasma burn table with ATek Steel Solutions.
• Create cut lists to optimize machine use and efficiency.
• Support employee development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create cutting programs for Python X.
• Generate shop information for QC, shop personnel & logistics.
• Organize and store fabrication documents and data.
• Enter production sequences and develop work orders for fabrication.
• Analyze shop productivity and establish production rates for review by shop superintendent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
