Job summary

Treehouse Fabrication & Scenic in Los Angeles is seeking a Production Manager to bridge the office and fabrication shop. You will coordinate schedules, prepare projects for fabrication, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.

You will work with Project Managers, Technical Designers, and the Shop Foreman to ensure smooth transitions from planning to production. Responsibilities include maintaining RFP tracking, coordinating timelines, and ensuring readiness for handoffs.

Qualifications

• Experience in production management or related role.
• Experience in custom fabrication preferred.
• Strong scheduling, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain RFP tracking sheet and proposal deadlines.
• Manage shop Google Calendar with time blocks for production stages.
• Maintain visual shop board showing project status and deadlines.
• Coordinate milestones with Project Managers for delivery and installation.
• Determine order and priority of build items across projects.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and recommend adjustments.
• Communicate timeline changes to Shop Foreman and teams.
• Ensure project readiness and proper handoffs to shop.
• Prepare installation and site requirements and post-project delivery steps.
• Balance shop capacity and resources; identify overtime needs.
• Archive completed project folders and documentation.
