Job summary

Treehouse Fabrication & Scenic is seeking an Estimating & Procurement Manager based in Los Angeles to drive accurate project estimates, budgets and sourcing for materials, rentals, and subcontracted services. You will work closely with project management, design, and accounting to ensure cost visibility and proactive purchasing.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, procurement, purchasing, project budgeting or related roles.
• Experience in custom fabrication, experiential production, scenic fabrication, construction, events, or similar.
• Strong understanding of labor, material, subcontractor, rental, transportation, and logistics costs.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, scopes of work, specs, schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project estimates covering labor, materials, subcontractors, rentals, transportation, installation and other costs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Designers, and production leadership to confirm methods, labor, material needs, and project assumptions.
• Obtain vendor, subcontractor, rental, and material pricing to support accurate estimates.
• Enter estimates and budgets into NetSuite with established formatting and cost categories.
• Prepare MSAs and SOWs from company templates and document assumptions and pricing qualifications.
• Monitor purchasing activity to ensure expenditures align with approved estimates and budgets.
• Source materials, equipment, rentals, transportation, and subcontracted services for active and upcoming projects.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery costs, and preferred-vendor agreements.
