Job summary

Horizons HR Services is helping a fabrication client hire Fabrication General Laborers for 1st and 2nd shifts. This team member will learn and participate in PEM operation, debur, and breakout tasks with the potential for growth within a family-owned manufacturing environment.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, with weekly pay and full medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits. The position is not temporary and offers stability and room for career advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of painting preparation, touch-up, part mark, spray paint, silk-screen, or related experience.
• Ability to use handheld power tools, paint equipment, and bulky parts and assemblies.
• Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trained in PEM Operator, Debur, and Break out processes.
• Read blueprints and position hardware for assembly.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with cabinet kitting.
• Smooth edges and tabs using hand tools, belts, and cordless drills.
• Sort, organize and count parts for production line.
