Pivotal Health Solutions in Watertown, SD is seeking a Plant Manager for Fabrication to lead the fabrication facility's daily operations, ensuring safe production, high-quality output, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role manages personnel, optimizes workflow, coordinates with engineering and logistics, and drives continuous improvement to meet production goals and company objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plant or operations management experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, forming, CNC).
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality control.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer and project deadlines.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Supervise and mentor department supervisors, team leads, and production staff.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of fabrication equipment and machinery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage plant budgets and control operating costs.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of plant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
