Job summary

Korry Electronics in Everett, WA is seeking a Paint Technician to apply primers and paints to components and assemblies, using HLVP spray gun, following engineering drawings and SDS requirements. You will coordinate with masking, prep, and inspection teams, ensuring color consistency and quality while meeting safety standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years painting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions from schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
• Tremendous attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Use engineering drawings, specifications and QA standards to produce conforming product.
• Mix and apply primers, polyurethane and epoxy paints with accurate mix ratios.
• Maintain paint-related equipment and spray booth.
• Read SDS for chemicals in the Paint department.
• Dispose of hazardous waste properly.
• Cross-train with Knobs Molding, Etching, Optics departments.
• Communicate status and cure times with team leads.
• Perform surface prep, masking, de-masking, touch-up and paint with HLVP spray gun.
