Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of production machine operator experience.

• Basic reading/writing, PC and math skills expected.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions/decimals.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Understanding of 6S and reading/analyzing job specs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate assemblies/parts per engineering documents and standards.
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging.
• Review finished assemblies against drawings and BOMs.
• Report fabrication issues and assist resolutions.
• Diagnose process and quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Reject defective parts as per policy.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and cross-training.
