Job summary

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma and 1–2 years of production experience. The role requires manual lifting, tool use, and meticulous attention to drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of production machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Basic mechanical skills to fabricate wood crates per engineering documents and standards.
• Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging processes.
• Maintain performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
• Review finished assemblies for accuracy against drawings.
• Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions.
• Diagnose process and quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Report defective machines, parts, and materials as per policy.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and training.
