• Technical training reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal or plastic fabrication machines.
• Saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend or straighten materials.
• Inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify problems.
• Move and handle materials safely on the shop floor.
• Read blueprints and adjust machines as needed.
• Operate forklift and manage material flow.
