Job summary

REMA Tip Top is seeking a hands‑on Fabrication Manager to oversee our Rubber Lining and Steel Fabrication. This role leads daily operations, employees, production, safety, quality, and scheduling while helping improve overall shop performance.

In this role you will manage three shops, drive efficiency, mentor supervisors, ensure OSHA/MSHA compliance, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and customers to deliver profitable outcomes in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or construction
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Experience with rubber lining, steel fabrication, or heavy industrial work

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across three shops
• Schedule and manage production, projects, and manpower
• Lead, train, and develop shop employees and supervisors
• Oversee rubber lining and steel fabrication work
• Ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are met
• Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and materials
• Manage shop costs, budgets, and project profitability
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and customers
• Identify ways to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA and company policies
