Job summary

REMA Tip Top is seeking a hands‑on Fabrication Manager to oversee our Rubber Lining and Steel Fabrication. This role leads daily operations, employees, production, safety, quality, and scheduling while helping improve overall shop performance.

In this role you will manage three shops, drive efficiency, mentor supervisors, ensure OSHA/MSHA compliance, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and customers to deliver profitable outcomes in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or construction
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Experience with rubber lining, steel fabrication, or heavy industrial work

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or construction
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Experience with rubber lining, steel fabrication, or heavy industrial work
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical drawings/specifications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• OSHA/MSHA knowledge preferred
• Valid driver's license

Work Environment

This is a hands‑on role working in shop, field, mining, quarry, and industrial environments. The position may involve heavy lifting, noise, dust, uneven surfaces, extreme temperatures, and use of industrial tools and equipment.

Travel

Overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
