Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a Fabrication/Manufacturing Engineer to design, improve, and sustain production processes, linking product design with manufacturing. You will apply lean principles, upgrade machinery, and streamline workflows to deliver high-quality products safely and cost-effectively.

You will work with design, R&D, and leadership to move prototypes into full-scale production, ensure equipment reliability, and comply with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or electrical engineering.
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks or AutoCAD), PLC programming, and automation systems (e.g., robotics and sensors).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine production methods to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
• Develop workflows, arrange equipment layouts, and establish assembly processes for new and existing products.
• Diagnose and fix equipment problems while addressing production bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain quality standards, including testing and inspection procedures.
• Identify, install, and validate new manufacturing equipment.
• Partner with design, R&D, and leadership teams to move products from prototype to full-scale production.
• Ensure all processes meet health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
