Job summary

Hydro Sidney is seeking a Fabrication Manager to lead the Fabrication Department, the largest in the site, with 150+ employees. You will drive production efficiency, quality, and safety while guiding new process implementations for cost-effective mass production.

The role offers growth opportunities within Hydro and requires strong leadership, fabrication expertise, and a track record of continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in fabrication/manufacturing environments.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership or managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the fabrication team, fostering safety and continuous improvement.
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement to improve workflows.
• Ensure quality standards through inspections and corrective actions.
• Identify and implement Lean initiatives to cut costs and boost efficiency.
• Promote safety and regulatory compliance across the department.
