The Greenbrier Companies, based in the United States, seeks an Operator 1 in Jackson, MO to operate saws, presses and drills to fabricate railcar components within close tolerances. You will handle carbon, stainless steel and aluminum parts, inspect dimensions, read drawings and follow production standards.

Competenze

• 6+ months of experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to operate a computer to run reports and communicate.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions preferred.
• 1+ years experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred.

Mansioni

• Assembles and grinds products such as carbon and stainless steel, or aluminum, using grinders, tables or conveyor systems.
• Uses hand tools such as wrenches, electric tools, and ratchets.
• Monitors output and proper operation of mechanical equipment.
• Adjusts parts to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Conducts regular inspections of parts produced through measurements.
• Reads drawings and follows production standards.
• Uses common measuring equipment such as tape measures.
