Job summary

Tarter Gate Company, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator for our Corinne, Utah facility. This full-time role involves operating band saws, press brakes, plasma tables and related equipment to manufacture gate components.

You will perform quality checks, setup and changeovers, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while supporting continuous improvements and cross-training across jobs. The position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Basic math skills.
Flexibility to work in many different areas.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
Must be able to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery and computers listed (band saw, press brake, plasma table, etc.).
Ensure product meets specifications and perform quality control.
Clean and maintain a neat work area; support 5S and continuous improvements.
Set up and inspect equipment before use.
Communicate with other shifts' operators and set-ups.
Start up and shut down procedures.
Assist mechanics and machinists with repairs.
Cross-train on other jobs.
Perform equipment change-overs.
