Pillar Innovations in Grantsville, MD is seeking a Shop Equipment Operator - Fabrication & Machining to join our fast-paced team. You’ll operate CNC Press Brakes, Laser, Plasma, and more to shape metals for industrial projects, with opportunities to advance based on machine proficiency.

The role requires flexibility with second shift and occasional Saturdays; strong math, blueprint reading, and job knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting basic blueprints and drawings.
• Basic math including decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment.
• Read, understand, and execute work orders and QA standards per job requirements.
• Facilitate setups and changeovers within machine capacities.
• Secure work pieces and operate stops and guides for proper alignment.
• Monitor machine functions to ensure output within tolerance.
• Perform quality checks during production to ensure parts meet tolerance.
