Westmor Industries is seeking a skilled Machine Operator - Fabrication to join our production team. You will read blueprints, fabricate parts to tolerance, and support safe, efficient manufacturing processes.

Candidates should be comfortable operating forklifts and cranes, following procedures, and maintaining high quality. We offer competitive benefits, a weekly paycheck, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles.
• Ability to fabricate parts to specified tolerances.
• Familiarity with safe operating procedures for forklifts and cranes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles
• Fabricate Parts to tolerance
• Update paperwork and reflect any changes
• Operate forklift and cranes according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance training certificate
• Operate equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
• Assembly is completed according to a planned schedule
• Work meets all quality standards and attention to detail
• Read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on tape measure
• Convert feet to inches and vice versa
• Convert Fractions to Decimals
