Job summary

Crenlo is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Watertown, SD. Start rate is $20+ per hour and includes cross-training across fabrication areas to support timely processing of orders and material flow.

Responsibilities include operating machines safely, tagging finished material, and adhering to quality checks while following documented procedures. Prior experience with measuring devices and basic math is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and logs.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and coach teammates.
• Read production orders and document required data accurately.
• Demonstrate knowledge of machine processes and steel defects.
• Write accurate reject reports.
• Perform routine measurements and use measuring devices.
• Maintain basic computer literacy for records.
• Follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures.
• Read tape measures and blueprints correctly.
• Complete safety training and apply it to daily tasks.
• Conduct quality checks and surface inspections of materials.
