Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC metal fabrication equipment (Press Brakes, Folders, Slitters, or Turret Punches).
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and micrometers with precision.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication tickets.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but will train.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety protocols and keeping a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate the coil farm to process master coils into slit coils and cut-to-length sheets.
• Set up and run the double folder to bend edge metal profiles to customer specifications.
• Operate the CNC punch for perforated or punched metal components.
• Operate the sheet metal shear (as needed/trained) to cut packaging materials or simple sheet requests.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure tolerances are met.
• Load and unload materials using sit-down forklifts, ensuring coils and sheets are not damaged.
• Perform routine daily maintenance on machines (cleaning sensors, checking fluids).
• Package finished materials (stacking, banding) as needed to assist the warehouse team.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all OSHA guidelines and MetalWyze safety policies.
